Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Wealth Tactical Ltd. ("Wealth Tactical," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use wealthtactical.com, score.wealthtactical.com, our checkout pages, or any associated product or content (collectively, the "Services"). In this policy, "our sites" means wealthtactical.com and score.wealthtactical.com. Our checkout pages are hosted separately by our checkout platform.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of Alberta (PIPA) and, where it applies, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Users located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom may have additional rights under the GDPR or UK data protection law. Section 8 explains them.
Our Privacy Officer is responsible for how we handle personal information and can answer questions about it. Contact details are in Section 16.
2. What Information We Collect

Important: Calculator inputs are processed locally in your browser. They are not sent to our servers, stored in any database, or passed to analytics tools. The Calculator does not ask for your name or email address.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our websites, use our checkout pages, or open our emails, the following may be collected automatically:

On wealthtactical.com and score.wealthtactical.com, the analytics, session recording and advertising tools use cookies and load only if you click Accept in the cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
Our checkout pages are hosted by our checkout platform. Our own analytics tag runs there for every visitor, and the cookie banner on our sites does not control it. It records visits to the checkout and purchases, which can include the product and the order amount. Our social media advertising pixel runs only when we have switched it on. When it is on, it also runs on the checkout pages for every visitor. When you buy, our checkout platform then sends the social media platform a record of the purchase, which can include a scrambled copy of your email address. When you click a checkout button on wealthtactical.com, the link also tells our checkout platform which page and which button you came from. Our checkout platform also sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
None of these tools receive the numbers you type into the Calculator. Our session recording service records a replay of how you use a page, such as your clicks and scrolling. In the Calculator, we have set it to mask the numbers you type and the on-screen text of your answers and results. Gauges, colors and bars are not masked and can still appear in a recording, so a recording can show roughly where a result landed without showing the figures. The same goes for the salary example on wealthtactical.com: we have set its text to be masked, and the position of the slider can still appear.
Our emails contain a small image and tracked links that tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We use this to keep our list accurate and improve our emails. Turning off automatic image loading in your email app blocks the image.
The Calculator loads its typeface from a third-party font service. That service receives your IP address each time the Calculator loads, whatever you chose in the cookie banner.
3. Legal Basis for Collection
We collect and use personal information for the purposes below. On wealthtactical.com and score.wealthtactical.com, the cookie banner offers one choice that covers analytics, session recording and advertising together, and those tools load only if you click Accept. Our checkout pages work differently, as Section 9 explains.
- To deliver what you ask for: Showing your calculator estimate in your browser, and delivering the products you buy
- To send emails about your purchase: Delivery and receipt emails, and related educational emails as described in Section 7
- To keep records: Order records and the record of what you agreed to at checkout, kept for tax and legal reasons as described in Section 6
- To improve the Services: If you click Accept, our analytics provider and our session recording provider collect information about your device and how you use our sites. This may include cookie and other online identifiers, your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, browser and device characteristics, referring pages, the pages you view, your clicks and scrolling, and, for the session recording service, session recordings and heatmaps. Alone or combined with other information, this data may identify you, and we treat it as personal information. The numbers you type into the Calculator are not sent to these providers. Section 2 explains what a recording of the Calculator can and cannot show.
- To measure our advertising: If you click Accept, our social media advertising pixel, when we have switched it on, collects similar identifier, device, page-view and interaction information. That includes when you begin a checkout or finish a calculation. The social media platform uses it to measure our ads and may use it to show you ads. The numbers you type into the Calculator are never sent. This data may also identify you, and we treat it as personal information.
- To measure our checkout: Our own analytics tag runs on our checkout pages for every visitor, whatever you chose in the cookie banner. It records visits to the checkout and purchases. If you clicked Accept on our sites, the analytics service also links your visit there to your visit to the checkout. When our social media advertising pixel is switched on, it also runs on the checkout pages for every visitor, and our checkout platform sends the social media platform a record of each purchase.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Deliver your purchases and send receipts
- Send educational email content about career risk management and layoff financial preparation
- Tell you about new products or updates related to what you bought
- Improve the Calculator and website experience
- Measure how our sites, our checkout and our advertising perform
- Keep order and consent records, and use them to answer a payment dispute
- Comply with legal obligations
- Ask, if you reply to one of our emails, whether we may quote one line from your reply anonymously. Nothing is quoted without your written yes
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do let our analytics, session recording and social media advertising providers collect information through the tools this policy describes:
- On wealthtactical.com and score.wealthtactical.com, if you click Accept, our analytics and session recording providers may collect information about your activity over time and across other websites. So may the social media platform, when our advertising pixel is switched on. The social media platform can use it for ad targeting, and the session recording provider may use it for its own advertising.
- On our checkout pages, our analytics tag runs for every visitor. When our advertising pixel is switched on, the social media platform also receives page events from our checkout pages for every visitor and a purchase event for every order.
Some laws call this selling, sharing or targeted advertising. You can stop it on wealthtactical.com and score.wealthtactical.com at any time with Manage Cookie Preferences in the footer. That choice does not reach our checkout pages. Our Cookie Policy explains how to ask us about the opt-out tools those providers offer.

This table describes our providers by category. Each provider has its own privacy policy. To ask which providers we use, email privacy@wealthtactical.com. The analytics, session recording and advertising tools collect information directly from your browser. We send our other providers only what is necessary for the stated purpose.
6. Data Retention

We delete marketing data when you ask. We cannot delete order and consent records early, because tax and legal rules require us to keep them.
7. Email Consent and CASL Compliance
When you buy a product, we send the emails needed to deliver it, including your receipt. We may also send educational emails and product news related to your purchase. We rely on your purchase as the basis for those emails. Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) treats a purchase as implied consent to receive related commercial emails for two years after the purchase. If we ever ask for your express consent, for example through a sign-up form, that form will say so. The free calculator sign-up form asks for it with a box you tick yourself, and we confirm it by email before anything else is sent. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
If you type your email address at checkout and do not finish the order, we may send you a reminder about that order.
Our emails contain a small image and tracked links that record opens and clicks, as Section 2 explains.
You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by emailing privacy@wealthtactical.com with "unsubscribe" in the subject line. We act on unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. We then keep your email address on a do-not-email list so we can honor your request. Unsubscribing stops educational emails and product news. To stop reminders about an unfinished order, email us at the same address. We still send the emails needed to deliver a purchase you make, such as your download link and receipt. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of messages sent before withdrawal.
8. Your Rights
You may ask us to do any of the following. We accept requests from any country:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Withdraw consent to receive commercial emails at any time
- Request deletion of your personal information. We delete marketing data when you ask. We keep order and consent records, and your email address on our do-not-email list, as Section 6 explains.
- Turn off optional tools on wealthtactical.com and score.wealthtactical.com at any time with Manage Cookie Preferences in the footer. That choice does not reach our checkout pages, as Section 9 explains.
Send requests in writing to the Privacy Officer at privacy@wealthtactical.com or the mailing address in Section 16. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, for example by replying from the email used at checkout.
We respond within 30 days. If the law allows more time and we need it, we will tell you why, when to expect our answer, and how to complain. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta at oipc.ab.ca or, where PIPEDA applies, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at www.priv.gc.ca.
Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom
Our products are written for people employed in the United States. They cover US rules such as COBRA and the WARN Act. They may not apply, or may be wrong, in Canada or any other country. If you use the Services from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, and the GDPR or UK data protection law applies to how we handle your information, this part also applies to you.
- Who is responsible: Wealth Tactical decides how and why your personal information is used. Contact our Privacy Officer using the details in Section 16.
- Why we use it and on what basis: We use your order details to deliver what you bought, because we need them to carry out our contract with you. We keep order and consent records because tax law requires it and because we have a legitimate interest in being able to show what was agreed. We send educational emails and product news to buyers because we have a legitimate interest in telling customers about related products, and you can object at any time by unsubscribing. On wealthtactical.com and score.wealthtactical.com, analytics, session recording and advertising tools run only with your consent, which you give in the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time. Our checkout pages work differently, as Section 9 explains.
- Extra rights: As well as the requests listed above, you may ask us to restrict how we use your information. You may object to uses that rest on our legitimate interests. You may also ask for a copy of the information you gave us in a form you can reuse.
- Complaints: You may complain to the data protection authority where you live. In the United Kingdom, that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
- Transfers: Your information is sent to and handled in Canada and the United States, as Section 14 explains. Where the law requires a safeguard for that transfer, we rely on the safeguards in our service providers' terms, such as standard contractual clauses.
- How long we keep it: See Section 6.
9. Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our websites. See our Cookie Policy for the cookies each tool sets, who sets them, how long they last, and how to manage your preferences.
On wealthtactical.com and score.wealthtactical.com, a banner asks for your choice before any optional analytics, session recording or advertising tool loads. One choice covers all of them, and they stay off unless you click Accept. You can change your choice at any time with Manage Cookie Preferences in the footer.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Our sites do not respond to browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. On wealthtactical.com and score.wealthtactical.com, optional analytics and advertising tools stay off unless you click Accept, whatever signal your browser sends. If you accept, our analytics, session recording and advertising providers may collect information about your activity over time and across other websites. We have not set up our checkout pages to respond to these signals either. There, our analytics provider and, when our advertising pixel is switched on, the social media platform may collect that information whatever you chose in the banner.
10. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a person under 18 has submitted personal information, we will delete it promptly.
11. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Data Breach Notification
If a breach of security safeguards involving your personal information creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will give the notices that applicable law requires, to you and to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, without unreasonable delay.
13. AI-Generated Content
Some communications and content associated with Wealth Tactical are produced with artificial intelligence assistance. We do not use AI systems to make automated decisions about your personal information.
14. International Transfers
Service providers outside Canada collect, use, store and disclose personal information for us. Our email service provider, our checkout and payment platforms, our website host, and our analytics, session recording and advertising providers are located in the United States. When you use the Services, your personal information is transferred to the United States, which may have different privacy laws than your jurisdiction. Information held in the United States can be accessed by US courts and authorities under US law.
Our Privacy Officer can answer questions about how service providers outside Canada collect, use, store or disclose personal information for us. To get written information about our policies and practices for those service providers, ask the Privacy Officer. Contact details are in Section 16.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The most current version will always be posted at wealthtactical.com/legal/privacy. We will notify active email subscribers of material changes.
